- 32% of total U.S. exports or $502 billion, with a surplus of $132 billion over services imports (Ward, 2010).
The World Bank attributes reductions in poverty levels to growth in the services sector than the contribution of growth in the agriculture or manufacturing sectors (World Bank, 2012).
